Cruise Boards

Show off your awesome cruise history with your own Ship Wheel Door Décor, adding as many of the Ship Wheel Cruise Boards as you need!

On each ‘cruise board’ you may want to include the name of the ship, the date of the cruise, and the ports visited, beginning with your departure port. See the photos for examples of options, keeping in mind your cruise boards can include any information that will fit.

We use ¼” maple for each cruise board.

As you're starting your Ship Wheel, you'll want to choose the Cruise Board option that best fits your needs. If you're starting with 15+ cruises, we recommend going with either of the "Short Board" options so that you have plenty of room for expanding.

Your initial Ship Wheel order will come with all of your Cruise Boards attached and ready to display; however, when you order additional Cruise Boards to add to your Ship Wheel, it is a relatively simple process to attach them. We found a video that shows a “quick & easy” way:

All pieces have primer and paint to ensure longevity of appearance. Since cruise ship doors are metal, we secure neodymium magnets using strong adhesive to the back of the ship wheel and, if testing shows it is needed to help support the weight, we will also secure neodymium magnets to a few of the cruise boards (typically every 5th or 7th cruise board but depends on what we believe will best support your Ship Wheel).

**I personally carry a couple of neodymium swivel hooks when we’re staying in a Spa Suite. This sometimes helps because the Spa Suite cabin doors have an extra layer (or two) of laminate cover. Although it isn’t required, if I don’t use the hooks on the cabin door, I’ll probably use them somewhere else in the cabin! 

We do everything possible to be consistent during the making of our products; however, because of the nature of wood materials, variations in grain and color should be expected and those variations are not considered to be flaws. Color may slightly vary due to lighting and monitor settings
